Empowering Women
- Proverbs 31:30
We continually thank the Lord for allowing this ministry to take place. The Lord provided people, a location, and a time for us to discuss the vision, mission, and goals for which we prayed for this ministry.
Things that I have learned today.
1. Except for God's grace, never put your trust in yourself or anyone else. It means that whatever we do, we should entrust it to the Lord.
"Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established."
2. This ministry necessitates a huge amount of effort and, more importantly, commitment.
"Numbers 30:2 - If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth."
3. Lifting up everything to prayer. Let our request be made known to our Master. God does not intend to complete his saving purposes in the world without prayer. He will complete these purposes. And he will do it by prayer.
"Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
